Report

Crabbing is at its peak in all the coves and creeks. Snappers have been feeding voraciously and are bigger enough for taking. Triggerfish have invaded the bay at the buoy chains as well as east cut. Try clam or squid baits.

Trigger fish are taking clam and squid baits at the rock pile in the east cut. Use plenty of weight and fish either tide to put some of these tasty critters in your frying pan.

Blue claw crabs are in full swing as nice size crabs are being caught in good numbers. Just use some bunker or chicken baits in any of the creeks and coves on the north side of the bay.

Blue claws are abundant in all the coves and are taking bunker or chicken baits. Trigger fish have moved in and can be taken with clams or squid in the east cut or at the buoys.

Cocktail blues have invaded the bay and are being taken by anglers casting tins wherever you see the birds working. Harts Cove produced some nice fish the past few days.

Gorilla blues are roaming the bay and providing action for anglers targeting fluke. Porgies have shown up in the hole east of buoy 30 and snappers and blue claw crabs are plentiful in all the coves and creeks.

Blue Claw crabs are now plentiful in all the coves on the north side of the bay. Use chiicken or bunker for bait. Snappers are all over the place and trigger fish can still be found at the rock pile in the east cut using clam or squid baits.

Blue claw crabs are plentiful in all the creeks and coves, snappers are moving into the bay, and trigger fish and porgies are also available.
