Flounder fishing has improved as the waters warmed with fish 1 1/2 to 3 pounds hitting from buoys 15 to 23. The season ends on May 30 so be sure to cash in on the action.

The waters are warming and the flounder bite is on from buoys 15 to 23. Incoming water using worm and mussel baits has produced some good catches the past few days.

Flounder season opened on April 1 and when the weather permits the fish have been cooperative. Nice catches have been made at buoy 30 and in Seatuck Cove. Worm and mussel baits and mussel and clam chum do the trick. Brian and I had 4 fish to 2 1/2 pounds in an hour yesterday.
