Fluke fishing remains nothing short of fantastic as many boats are returning with keeper fluke up to 7 pounds. Best action is 3 hours before and after high water using spearing and squid or a bucktail tipped with spearing. Quit wishin' and go fishin".

Fluke fishing exceeded all expectations on Saturday as many anglers returned with their limit. Tony Ambrosia bagged a 7 pounder at buoy 14 and Big Dave & crew managed a dozen keepers to 7 pounds in the east cut. Use spearing and squid and fish any moving tide.

Big Dave Roys and Eddie DiPresso had a nice catch of fluke today in the east cut using spearing and squid. The duo managed 6 keepers including a couple of 5 pounders. Dennis Peppel had a 5 pounder at buoy 14.

Big Bob managed to keep 2 out of 30 or so fish he caught. Looks like it will be a good year judging from the start. Best action is in the Narrows around buoy 8 with spearing and squid.
