The Silly Lily Fishing Station has been located at its present site on Moriches Bay since 1933, providing access and recreational opportunities to the public. Your day on Moriches Bay can be spent in a variety of ways. Our unique location nestled in Tuthill cove with immediate access to the central region of the bay allows boaters to explore many different recreational options.  The protection provided within the coves enables novice sailors, kayakers users to enjoy the bays waters without being intimidated by the open waters.  Our central location provides boaters with easy access to fishing and beach destinations.  Fishing opportunities abound throughout the season (see fishing section) and beach go-ers can enjoy picnicking, clamming, beach facilities and access to the ocean.   Sailing is another  activity on the bay which is popular throughout summer as the seabreeze blows on an almost daily basis. Kayakers can explore the numerous creeks and coves to observe the wildlife and enjoy the tranquility and beauty that the saltmarshes offer. . Also See:
